Last week, an old urban legend made a successful comeback. Although too ridiculous on the face of it for anyone to credit, apparently some people did. The story is of a lady who crashes her newly purchased mobile home, then sues the manufacturer for negligence, collecting millions.

What makes this story special is that the driver supposedly takes an extra step before crashing. She engages her cruise control, then leaves her seat and goes back to the kitchen of her recreational vehicle to make herself a sandwich. The jury gives her a huge award for crashing during this manoeuvre.
