Residents of a small Washington town say mysterious crop circles have appeared in wheat fields for the second time in three years.

I have been through Wilbur many times on my way to north central Washington to go hunting and camping. If you blink you almost miss the town.
I am sure this caused lots of excitement in that little town. They don't get a lot of visitors there most of the year.

We've got about a half dozen crop circles in grain fields adjoining the c-ring road around the city, but nobody's arsed in getting up in the sky to take pictures.

I think it was a Gary Larsen cartoon that explained the crop circle phenomena--Elvis mashing down the crops with his guitar--no time for karate moves!
This is what happens when a town can't manage to hold an annual festival or fireworks display or something to bring people in--mysterious things happen and are publicized. Ali "yes there was a monster in Flatwoods WV!" Infree
