Comment: Did Henry Kissinger ever say that he
was the messiah of the jews? Different stories have him saying "You foolish jews, can't you see I am your messiah!" during an outburst in the seventies and other variants. Is there any truth to it? Some say they heard of him saying it, some say they read that he said it, some say they think it's a myth, some say if he had said it everybody would know and it wouldn't be a controversy. Please discover the true nature of this urban legend. |

Why does this put me in mind of The Life of Brian?

About 30 years ago, some fundamentalist Christians--those who are premillennialists--began circulating the rumor that he was the "Anti-christ." I guess Kissinger received this inglorious honor because he was acting as a peacekeeper in the Middle East, and most of the Christians who believe that we are living in the "last days" view the "Anti-christ" as one who would "by peace destroy many."
Also, many other world leaders have been subjected to the ultimate insult of being labeled a candidate for the role of the Antichrist. Barbara R. |
