Seems to me we should all drive school buses.

The links are now broken, but is the OP image one from the series that were originally in this thread?

Snopes' picture (if it's real, which I'm not sure...it would seem that there would be more detritus on the street from a car that's been that smashed up) doesn't really indicate how small the car was. My car, a Chrysler Pacifia, has very similar wheels.
And in Nick's, how freaking fast was that Hummer going? |

We have a full size crew cab one ton pickup, and if it were sandwiched between a semi and a gravel truck (especially if the rear most vehicle had a bunch of momentum going), I doubt that the picture would be noticably different, although there may be a lot more detritus.

It also isn't clear to me that the car was smashed between two trucks. It looks as through the truck with the red cab rear-ended the car (possibly smashing it against a meridian or guard rail), but the other truck may have been uninvolved.

It could be the angle. When I was hit and pushed into the SUV in front of me the drivers side looked untouched. The passenger side had both fenders pushed into the wheels. Wrecker driver asked me what was wrong with my car. I told him to look at the other side.
