Goat Sheep vs. Mountain Lion vs. Cliff (dead animals, but not particularly gory)

Comment: Going To The Sun Road in Glacier National Park. Lion and sheep found at cliff base on the road. Note mouth full of sheep hair on the lion. Looks like there was a fight up on the cliffs, and the lion had a bite on the butt of the sheep, when they both fell to their death off the cliff and onto the road.

Absolutely gorgeous road. Mountain on one side, cliff on the other. I'm sure things like this happen all the time.

In '93, I was there with my wife, father and (then) 1-year-old. As we're driving, I look past my father, and see an eagle pacing us, right at eye-level. Before anyone could get a camera out, the road turned one way, and the eagle went the other way.

*Sigh*. If only the lion had held on to something more robust it would have had a cushy fall and very tender mutton.
