5/25/09 Non Sequitur comic

Today's Non Sequitur uses the "Mars will be close to Earth in August and will look as big as the moon!" UL as a plot point.

It's an UL? Strange. I remember when it was in the summer and i was sometime around the early teens; I pointed to the sky asked a friend what that object was. He looked at it and said it was probably the moon. I then pointed to another part of the sky and asked if that was the moon then what was that object, which looked like the moon.

Emails like this get sent round every summer. My mom sends me one every year, forgetting that she sent it the year before that, and the year before that, and the year before that...
