Comment: an old wifes tale - it is said that the longer babies teeth
without actually cutting teeh the healthier and longer they will keep
there baby teeth ?

But you don't WANT to keep your baby teeth for a long time. How else will your big teeth grow in? Or do they mean, the adult teeth will then take longer to come in because the baby teeth are in longer? This is stupid and confusing.

I think they mean that the longer the process of the teeth emerging from the gums takes, the stronger the teeth will be. I don't buy it either but I'm a long way from my dental research material right now.
