Comment: I was wondering if at any time your site has tackled the so called
"pineapple juice" myth. I have heard on many occasions that drinking
pineapple juice helps make sperm taste sweeter. I have heard mixed
opinions that it is a myth and that it is true.

Rageadless of its supposed bodily fluid-flavoring properties, drinking pineapple juice everyday is beneficial because pineapple juice is delicious

Well...in my personal experience it works quite well. My husband used to eat a can of pineapple (and the juice) everyday with his lunch. It was downright pleasant. Now things are just normal

This is true. They often wear plaid, and even mix blue and green.

I read an article about this before. Apparently eating a diet high in sugar will make your semen taste sweeter. A diet high in protein will make it taste bitter.

So drinking pineapple juice, or almost any other sweetened drink every day will, theoretically, make your semen tast more palatable.

Why wouldn't they have a taste?

Now, I don't think the pineapple juice would affect the taste of sperm (or even that sperm is a detectable taste in semen) but I don't think it would be very odd for sperm to have components human tastebuds can register.

Isn't a single molecule of any food microscopic?

And I did say I don't think they have any noticeable effect on the taste of semen. There is too much other stuff, and not enough sperm. But sperm on their own may well have a taste.

You'd have to squish a whole bunch together before you'd notice, though. And frankly, that's a science fair project I'm not signing up for, but would very much like to see.

I must second ChickMarie, in that it does make a difference. That and drinking a ton of water everyday.

And oh my yes, there is a taste. Usually, its quite Blech. But with the sweetness, not so bad!

This is true. Any taste would be the liquid that the sperm are in.
