Conspiracy theories were the order of the day for conservative radio host Jan Mickelson as he dedicated his show on Iowa’s largest radio station to the discussion of urban legends with a writer from World Net Daily.
Multiple groups, FactCheck.org and Snopes.com among them, investigated the claims that Obama could not be president because he was born in Kenya and had citizenship in other countries, determining that he did in fact have a valid birth certificate from Hawaii. The end of the afternoon program was a one man tour de force of Mickelson proclaiming the 14th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution was never legally ratified, and thus, children of foreign born parents are not citizens of this country even if they are born here. http://iowaindependent.com/12624/rad...iracy-theories |

I really give up on this Obama birth certificate stuff, it looks like it is going to be slung about forever, much like the 2000 presidential election and the Supreme Court decision, except with fewer facts.

![]() BTW, it takes a special bit of cruelty to name your daughter Stanley. I'm glad they didn't insist on her using it. |

I'm sure if you wait long enough the inbox will tell you that if one of your grandparents once sneezed in the direction of another country you're not really a citizen.

Apparently. I'm probably an athiest, socialist baby killer too. I also cough and hiccup when the occasion calls for it.
