Disney Lawsuit Demands More Rides on Disney's Tower of Terror

An Orlando woman is suing Disney after she says management unfairly banned her from all parks.

Denise Mooty said she suffers from abdominal adhesions. The one and only thing she said helps relieve her excruciating pain is riding the Tower of Terror at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Oh boy there must be more to this one. I must wonder how it is that this one ride, and only this one ride, is able to ease her suffering.

I'd have though reading this on her website she wouldn't have wanted to go back.

As if that was not enough ,,,, I took my son to Disney two days before his Birthday ,,, as a surprise Birthday Gift. As we were trying to leave the park to return home ,,, I was assaulted{{ punched in the stomach right where I had just had my surgery done and also the injections just a short time before}} by a woman who was also a visitor of the park!! Her daughter ,, then assaulted my teen age son too!!!
This action has now caused serious trauma to my insides. It has caused the Adhesions to grow at an alarming rate.

Disney spokeswoman Andrea Finger issued this statement on Wednesday: "Ms. Mooty's claims are without merit. She was trespassed for causing a disturbance within the presence of other guests and using foul language toward a Cast Member."
What the heck does that mean "she was trespassed"? Is that some sort of Disney terminology?

this has been on going for a few months..

But does anyone else think it's odd that another family would just up and assault other guests at the park?

As for Disney, looks like they just can't win.

They get sued for not allowing the healing properties of the ride for this person,
and sued for causing a stroke for this person..

I've heard of 'being trespassed' before. I heard it used with regard to 'stores like WalMart'- the idea is, they're publicly owned, but they're allowed to forbid you to enter their place of business for any reason yada yada and they call it being trespassed.

I've been trespassed from a local bar. That means they had a police officer give me a formal trespassing warrant say saying that I would be arrested if I was on their property again. And that's exactly how it's phrased, down here at least. They had me trespassed. I have been trespassed.

I became familiar with the term 'being trespassed' from reading about casinos. If the casino suspects you of card counting, they can't have you arrested because card counting is legal (in spite of what they would like people to believe), but they can kick you off the property and tell you not to come back. Also known as being 86'd.

Oh wow...
did anyone take time to look through all that? If someone would only take the time to listen to her, I think she could practice medicine.

and, you know, she could retire and take care of her Adhesions with some stupid theme park ride.
