A British woman has sued Walt Disney World, alleging that a disabling heart attack and stroke she suffered in 2005 were caused by riding on Disney's Tower of Terror.

The article fails to mention whether the woman had a known heart condition. Theme parks specifically warn people who are in poor health not to ride. If she did not know she had one, there isn't much Disney could do to prevent it, and if she did know, she should not have been riding in the first place.
I don't quite understand the "common carrier" bit. Are they trying to claim that Disney World was attempting to pass off the Tower of Terror ride as a real elevator? |
