The Snopesters Baseball League 2009
Pitchers and catchers are beginning to report, and spring is just around the corner. Yes, folks, it's time for season three of The Snopesters Baseball league, our fantasy league run by and for Snopesters.
Again, this year the league will be on Yahoo. I will be setting up the league shortly, and I'll let everyone know what the league number and the settings will be. If you have any questions, feel free to PM or email me.

By the way, I used pretty much the same settings as last year. However, we could also go to a points-based league, if no one minds. Let me know what you think.

The Grounds Crew have signed up and are ready to draft. Thanks for doing this again DAnnino. I, for one, appreciate your setting up the leagues and the weekly updates.
How difficult is the SIM league? I could be interested if it is not a lot of work and research. Count me as interested if you are looking for managers. All the best dude! Here's to a fun season.

As far as the SIM, it's not hard. The draft would be rather similar to a roto, but with an eye toward filling the lineup rather than just for stats. Then, it would be up to you to keep track of your guys' stats throughout the season. I'd suggest going to WIS and getting a ten game Spring league, just to get a feeling for the system. How many is required? I think 12 from the last time i was in a baseball league on Yahoo (I nearly won the division that time lol.. last minute the team I was tied with beat me out :P)
Havent' decided if I will go again.. need to check in on my Hockey one but don't have the link on laptop saved
