Bobby Layne cursed the Detroit Lions
Comment: Detroit Lions Bobby Layne curse.
I keep reading online about the "Bobby Layne Curse" which should be broken this year in 2009. Google "Bobby Layne Curse" and you'll see many references to this. Upon being trading to Pittsburg back in 1958 , an irrate Bobby Layne , Detroit's star QB of the last 8 years stated that The Detroit Lions would not win for 50 years, according to rumour. The fact that it is 50 years later and the Lions have gone 0-16, makes me scepticle and I am tied of reading this runour.

Nope. Matt Millen cursed the Lions. Anyone who'd draft a WR in the first round every fracking season has to be a curse.
