Icon24 Everything has addictive additives

Comment: I am dealing with a group of high school students from the UK (I
am in Hong Kong) who claim that Proctor and Gamble either do or did put
nicotine in Pringles potato chips to make them addictive.

My reply has been
1. They know nothing about the US legal system if they think that P&G
could do this have it found out and still be in business.
2. If so why is this not mentioned anywhere on the Internet. After all,
everything else is mentioned there?
3. There has never been a court case listed dealing with this?

Of course all food has addictive agents added to it. I found that once I started eating food I found it impossible to stop... as it is, I need a food fix at least three times a day, sometimes as much as four or five.

I've tried quitting... but I just can't do it.

Water is addictive too. It's like crazy man. It's the chemicals they put in it, man. Once you start drrinking it if you stop for more then a few days you'll like DIE. it's crazy!

I had a physician who told me that carbohydrates were the "crack cocaine" of the diet. From a physiological point of view it's not the carbohydrates that directly cause the feeling but the body's reaction of secreting insulin.
