Icon05 Hypnotherapy

Has anyone out there tried, or know someone that has tried hynotherapy to quit smoking? I am thinking of trying this route because I continue to fail and figure it is worth a shot.

Hypnotherapy can work. But only if you want it to. Of the people I know who have tried it and truly want to quit, it worked 100%. Of those that only did it because of pressure to, 100% of them were smoking again within a year. It is nothing more than an extremely powerful suggestion but done in a manner that is very persuasive from what I have been told. (I know 7 that wanted to and did and 4 that went but really didn't want to quit that have tried it)

My Hubby and a close family friend went to one in 1995. Hubby didn't really want to quit. He was only doing it because we just found out I was pregnant. My step-Mom's cousin wanted to. She tried for years to quit but had no success and was now determined to. She hasn't smoked since that night. Hubby was smoking again after only 4 weeks (He isn't allowed to smoke in the house or around us). And still is even though one of my best friends died of cancer and his brother has cancer.
