Icon18 Atheists, beware!

Comment: I received this photograph from a message board for Atheists. It was
forwarded from a lawyer who gets involved in separation of state and church
cases, Edwin Kagin, who works for American Atheists. Is it real? I
wouldn't be surprised if it is, but I want to make sure before starting a
letter-writing campaign.

Not sure if this is an authentic sign or not, although from what I have googled it appears as if it could be genuine. Most photos I found are attributed to 2005. Rev E. F. Briggs died in 2006, so writing him a whole pile of letters won't achieve much.

me, no really seems to have most of the bases covered on this, but from what I've googled, the general consensus is that it's real, and was originally created by Kevin P. Reilly Jr, Chairman & CEO of Lamar Advertising Co. of Baton Rouge, LA.

No, the real threat threat to America is from their lawyers, obviously.

You know, he's right though. I've been advocating civil war for years...I just don't have good lawyers.

After all, a civil war is preferable to a rude war.

Hold on a second - Lamar Advertising is an owner/renter of signage... they may only own the boards this tripe is pasted onto - they may not actually have created the words.

Just wanted to make sure you guys knew that.

If you read me, no really's third link, you will see that the controversy involved Lamar's alleged selectivity in accepting and rejecting ads for billboards.

No, they will only end up in the dead letter department.

Every time you kiss an Atheist, Rev E. F. Briggs' time in purgatory becomes longer.

Let me try it, and I'll get back to you.

This billboard isn't anything too different from what Ann Coulter has said, is it?

Move along, nothing original to see here.

This is actually pretty good.

According to the billboard, atheist already have the lawyers.

Fred Phelps has already said that the United State Military is a bunch of, I believe the term he used was "fag enablers", so we already have the guns.

And since Jews, which will of course been on our side since all non-Christians are de ebil, obviously control the world's money supply, we'll have the money.

So when the war starts, we'll have the lawyers, guns and money.

We win.
