The Monster Under the Bed

Comment: There is a popular business book titled "The Monster Under the
Bed" by Stan Davis and Jim Boktin which is said to have been started
because a 5 year old girl used a computer and technology to solve the Bed
Monster Problem. I find lots of references to the business book written
by adults, but cannot find the original story or documentation about it.
Does Megan really exist?
