Okay, now that I've had a chance to gather my bearings...
Here's Tarzan from a couple different angles, courtesy of a google search:
A picture from Flikr.
A picture that I think was originally on a blog or something (I don't really know; the google search takes me straight to the picture page instead of a larger page).
Y'all can be the judge. Personally, I think the angle and lighting in the first picture exaggerates things a bit...

Shades of the little mermaid. How did they miss what that would look like. Was it meant to be there, I would doubt it, but wow.

I must have a clean mind, because my first thought in reading the thread title was, "I didn't know Tarzan was in the army..."

Am I the only one not seeing it? It doesn't look all that phallic to me, just like a normal loincloth.

It's not just you. I don't see anything inappropriate. Well, any less appropriate than a man in a loin cloth normally is.

I don't see it either.

I do see it...but I'm not impressed. I challenge anyone to sculpt a three-dimensional figure that doesn't look odd or naughty from some angle or other. If people are going to try that hard to see something, then, by golly, they will.

Someone once told me that the two most common things that people see in clouds are faces and penises.

Yeah, that just lookes like cloth hanging down to me. If I squint right I suppose the first picture could look a bit like he's wearing a dirty jock strap, but I see no unit of any type.

I see it. It's kind of round in the middle of the loincloth.

However, if you trace that up, it's attached nowhere near where it should be.

Wouldn't it be more offensive if there were obviously nothing there? I mean, I'm not saying there's anything wrong with you, Ken, but even Barbie's beginning to wonder.

Me, too. I don't think it's from having a "clean" mind or not, but I also immediately thought, "I didn't know he was in the military."
What "unit," airborne?

As for seeing or not seeing anything, Tarzan was in the water a lot, so we have to consider shrinkage.

For comparison, this is what I found googling:

Not all that different, no?
