Comment: I was washing my car with my brother at a coin-operated pressure
wash station. His sandaled feet were dirty and he asked me to rinse them off, but he changed the sprayer mode to light pressure. I asked him why, and he said the high pressure can kill you, because the water can inject through the skin hypodermically into the bloodstream. I laughed and thought he was just being a wimp because he thought it would hurt, but he was genuinely scared when I switched it to high pressure and shot near him, haha! |

Comment: I have a theory about the "droopy drawers" syndrome. No idea if there's
any factual basis, but it's kind of amusing. The theory is: People who buy overpriced designer underwear want to show it off, so they wear their pants down around their knees to make sure everyone can see it. |

Comment: I have been drinking straight lemon juice for over 35 years.
Instead of soft drinks, I drink lemon juice over ice. If it turns into lemon water then that is good too. I have not had a softdrink in over 10 years - maybe?? My family is known for breast cancer (mother, grandmother, great-grandmother)so if lemon juice prevents that then I am one lucky person. I'm only 59 so we shall see in the years ahead for me. Thank you for letting me voice my approval of drinking lemon juice. |

Comment: I read the post about not being able to get sleepy from eating
turkey or chicken because the amount of L-tryptophan would be negligible. I get sleepy to the point of almost not being able to do anything every time I eat chicken or turkey. I don't have to have much of it either. I'm not imagining this because it happens every time I eat it. And if I eat it more than one day, it seems to build up in my system. ONE CHICKEN SANDWICH, ONE SLICE OF TURKEY - either way, I'm wiped out. I have to think that there's something in the meat that does this to me. Just my two cents. |

Re: your report on Beneful dog food. I feed one of my dogs this product. Two nights ago I found some flying creatures in the pantry where the food is kept. I could not find the source until today when I looked in the dog food bag, there were all the creatures plus worms. I have been feeding this to my dog. I usuall just dip a cup into the bag and put it in the dish. I did not notice any thing until I looked in the bag. I think these things were hatching at the point. This is not what it should be. |

Comment: Camp Schmidt. Old Man Clutch, 14 years ago a friend when i went
to camp schmidt for the summer, it was my first time being at a camp. I watched alot of horror movies and seen that they all turned out bad. Later that night camo counselors told a story of how a creepy old man named Clutch kidnapped and decapitated children in the woods nearby. We really didnt believe him so when they left us in our bunks, we made a plan to sneak into the woods. It was six of us, 4girls 2boys myself included. We went a little deep into the woods, but at least we had flashlights, everything was eerily quiet the whole time. We're joking and laughing then theres a noise. Sounded like dragging of some sort, my friend at the time (Stacy) noticed a man walking toward us, seemingly with an awful limp and holding something in his right hand. My eyesight is terrible at night and i didnt have my glasses with me. He suddenly stopped walking when she screamed, i couldnt 100% see what he looked like i could only make out what he had n his hand and what he had missing from his shoulders. We were frozen in fear, he began walking towards us again, this time we ran and i could hear what sounded like children screaming as we ran away. A few mins later we were just about 30feet from the counselors bunk and then i heard a yelp directly behind me. All but one of us made it back. Our counselors told us earlier that Clutch has an extremely disfigured left leg thay caused him to limp, he carries a bag of childrens heads and he was missing his. I figured that was the screaming we heard while we ran. The girl was never found, but her bracelet was found in front of our bunks door the next morning. He wanders those woods near Camp Schmidt waiting for his next victim, you can believe me or not but i dare you to try and find out. |

Comment: I know these stories have been circulating for years; I just wanted to say
that my husband and I once received a Kentucky Fried napkin! We had a bucket of mixed pieces, and my husband took a bite of a piece, only to find it was a batter-fried, wadded-up(presumably used) napkin. Yuk. This was years ago, but I think of it every time I hear one of these stories. |

Comment: Regarding professors and technically true answers. (Your link
here: http://www.snopes.com/college/exam/choice.asp) In law school, my crimlaw professor who treated exams this way. During our exam review, he told us that on one exam, a student managed to dodge bits of a complex hypothetical where the professor had used "Bart Simpson" as one of the players in the hypo. The student (with citations to actual law) pointed out that Bart Simpson was a juvenile and thus, not subject to the charges in the hypo. On the final exam for that class, the professor asked a question that was supposed to be about an attempted crime. The hypo concluded with "Will he be found guilty of crime," rather than "attempted crime." I answered that the person would not be found guilty of the crime because he hadn't committed the crime. The professor actually gave me full marks for my answer. |
