FREDERICKSBURG -- The apelike foot found in a Spotsylvania County landfill still has folks scratching their heads.
Spotsylvania Sheriff Howard Smith said yesterday that he plans to send the foot to an as-yet-undetermined expert for further examination. "So we can find out what it is," he said. Already, word of the find is making the rounds on Internet sites dedicated to Bigfoot sightings and theories. http://www.timesdispatch.com/servlet...=1149193201262 |

Well now. Since it has no size reference, and it looks like any old decayed foot, I'd say sure it's a bigfoot foot.......NOT!

From the article: "Foot found in a Spotsylvania County landfill and believed to be from an apelike species."
An apelike species? Like oh I don't know... human? It's a foot. Probably a human foot.

Maybe I'm missing something, but I can't see anything on that page that claims it's part of Bigfoot, merely that is from an apelike species.
Also it was found in a landfill. Would the owner of part of an actual Bigfoot toss it in the trash? ETA Partially spanked. ETA2 Where is the article? All I get is one sentence and four phtographs. Last edited by Eddylizard; 15 February 2007 at 08:43 PM. |

According to this article, the foot was determined to not be human (as per the medical examiner's office). Seeing that it appears sawed off, it could have belonged to a museum exhibit or something.

Why would Bigfoot leave his foot in a landfill?

Oh gawd, I'm just waiting for that guy to chime in, the fella from the bigfoot message board, does anyone else remember him and all the baboonextrahead talk? Oh those were the days. I was sad to see him go.

I remember him.... He reminded me of the guy that claimed that he invented Mario and that Nintendo stole it from him.

You mean this guy? http://www.beckjord.com/
Oh, dear me. Oh my. Gracious goodness. Look what's first up on his site now: "Penis of Bigfoot in 35mm" "Also, under white underware on rope, BF may have an erect sex organ in view. Is in the right spot on body. The lady is 30 ft away, but bush is in the way of view" The bush is in the way of view, huh? I thought the bush.... oh, never mind, y'all climb down into the gutter on your own. |

If Bigfoot lost his foot, does that mean hes now merely calling himself "Big"? Like when snoop doggy dogg lost his doggy.

Is it just me, or does the foot look like it's missing the ends of the toes in Some of the pictures from the article that LittleDuck posted (the ends of the toes look to me like they had joints)?
