Reporter Fox News on "Obama/Biden"

What I do know is that since Saturday, after Obama's announcement of Biden as his running mate, folks have been remarking on the similarity between "OBAMA AND BIDEN" (etc.) and "OSAMA BIN LADEN."

What I don't know is whether the following really appeared on a Fox News broadcast.

There's nothing about it on the Daily Kos yet, and I would expect it there if it was even suspected of being real. I vote fake.

Obama looks like Osama. Big deal. But did he have to pick Biden for VP?

Shouldn’t somebody in Obama’s campaign have thought of this?
That's what I've been thinking. Not that I think he/they should pander to idiots, but it was like taking a bad thing (the unfortunate similarity) and making it worse.

Also - did you see that the "Obama is not a pumpkin" link goes to another Tastesfunny page that then links to a spoof Snopes page (called "Snoops")? It looks very similar - is that parody or copyright infringement?

Right. And the "Obama's Baby Momma" network. But my point is, both of those were posted on Kos within hours (or sooner) and I think if it was real, we'd have seen it there by now.

Are you talking of the 'terrorist fist jab' comment made by Hill while citing a description used by someone else in a questioning statement? The same statement she later apologized for and lost her show as a result of?

I'm no fan of Fox news put using that phrase to describe the channel is ridiculous.

I vote fake. The font doesn't look right.

Sample 1

Sample 2

Sample 3

All these have a much narrower font than the OP.

Who was she citing? No snark - the only place I saw/heard anyone questioning the meaning of the fist pump was on Fox.

She *said* she was only repeating characterizations of it that she had heard in the media. But no such characterization existed before she said it.

Those Fox kids are such cards!

I'm sure it's fake, but it wouldn't surprise me if something like this did happen.

I suppose it's too much to hope that John McCain will choose a running mate with a surname of Abel.

Give that it's a title, he wouldn't have to change his name.

I just thought of something on the way home from work: if Obama changed his middle name to "Hopey," he wouldn't have to change his monograms.

He might as well change his name to "Former Prisoner of War" McCain.

The implication that John McCain - a former POW - would change his name, is outrageous.

You know, for five and a half years he didn't even have a name.
