Police have stopped testing notes for traces of the drug in criminal investigations as the contamination is so widespread.

I had a class recently where a handheld testing device was used. It could be set for different types of drugs or explosives, and every bill (probably 10 or 12 total) that we pulled out of our pockets to test did come back positive for cocaine.

Maybe the U.S. government keeps it's supply of cocaine and money in the same room. When necessary they just make shipments from that room, the money going to the wealthy neighborhoods and the cocaine going to the poor.
