Agreed - I was just curious myself what it might look like and thought I'd post what I found. Someone in Cook County clearly has a barbed wire fetish.

I do think it's ironic that the Cook County one is so dilapidated and run-down.

Perhaps someone is building a new one, because of that, and that's how this one came to be associated with Cook County?

Comment: About the Canadian coins, they are "loonies", not "toonies' per
the loon on each coin.

Comment: Canada's $2 coin is a "loonie," not a "toonie."

It depicts the bird known as a loon--get it?

First, why don't you actually learn the difference between a loonie and a toonie before calling snopes out? Idiot.

Second, we longtime readers of the "We've Got Mail" forum know a loonie when we see one.

Okay, so I'm in NZ, miles and miles away, and I googled the Candian $2 coin. Boy, that's one HECK of a bizarre looking bird! I have to admit, if we had a bird that looked like that, we'd think it pretty loonie, too.

(Oh and rockland - new monitor please for your last comment).

ETA: Showed hubby the $2 coin reverse and that someone claimed it was a bird. He said "I'd hate to see *that* fall out of a tree." Heheheheh.

The first time I saw a toonie, my father showed me the "heads" side, then the "tails" side, saying "Look - it's the Queen with a bare behind!"

Comment: I have received an e-mail regarding a missing 3 year old girl
from Tamworth, Reachelle Marie Smith. When I checked out on your site, it
came up with another missing 3 year old girl with coincidentally the same
name, but this one is in the USA. I could not tell whether this was a
hoax or not and do not want to forward the e-mail I received to everyone
if it is a hoax. Can you please let me know?

Well obviously it's true. It's a well-known fact that a band of little green alien explorers from the planet Blorg are roving the globe "disappearing" every Reachelle Marie Smith they can find on the planet. No one knows why.

If you know any Reachelle Marie Smiths, tell them to change their name immediately. Otherwise, the aliens will "disappear" them too.

You have been warned.

Ta ra 'wan,

Ieuan "a little green" ab Arthur

At the bottom, it says that "The Nobel Prizes are given out according to
the will of Alfred Nobel and the statutes of the Nobel Foundation", but
Alfred Nobel died in 1896.

Just wanted to mention that.

Haven't you heard? They hold seances every year to contact Alfred to find out who should win the award. As a spirit, he is beyond space and time. He screwed up last year, though. Obama wasn't supposed to get his Peace Price for another 5 years - after he brokered a permanent Israeli / Palestinian peace accord.

Comment: The article "Health Concerns" claims that John Semmens made up
the remarks of Obama as satire. I went to Semmens' site and I wonder how
you know Obama did not say that and that Semmens made it up?

Comment: Story of Islamic martyr Imam Ali -- and the sign of the store
closing on 9/ll. Story contradicts itself. Explains that by 'coincidence'
it fell on 9/11 that year. Yet the manager explains 'it is the exact same
sign' used 'every year on this date'

No. On this particular 'day' not 'date'. Big difference.

Roll eyes

Comment: On a recent email about "Giants in the land..." or Nephilim (not
sure if I spelled correctly) you sent out a report that it was "not true,"
based on the Koran. My question for you is, why did you choose the Koran
to base your answer about this whether this email was valid or not?

The Holy Bible is the Book(s) that talk the truth about the Nephelim.

Are you a Muslim based company?

Just wondering....
