Comment: TacoBell video, if not true can be very damaging to Taco Bell restaurants. Here is the link to the U-tube interview.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M91dv1_QuuA

If this is fake Taco bell needs to be suing U-Tube big time. Someone needs to be contacting TacoBell. This could be a v very damaging video.

Comment: Re UPS/FedEx Delivery Failure.

Illiteracy has no place on a Web site whose purpose is to publish vital
information.

1. 'Packet' has been spelled and used correctly. 'Package' is also spelled
and used correctly. What is your point?

2. Mis-spelled is misspelled. There is NO hyphen (that's the litte line
after the third letter).

3. Un-able is misseplled. Again, there is NO hyphen.

Information is far more trustworthy and apt to be taken seriously when it
is presented clearly and accurately.

Comment: It disturbs me that you are able to look through emails and send
information without being a friend or accepted sender. I am quite happy
to share that I wrote an extensive letter to the person that fwd. me the
Obamam book rumours to question her integrity in sending out such emails
without researching the original sender to see if they actually knew what
they were talking about. I am honestly just floored that your group was
able to find private email addresses through that web mail. You guarantee
promises that you wont share our addresses yet you go searching to find
mine to begin with. It is nice that you are willing to point out both
sides of a story, but after the letter I sent to the friend that emailed
me the info on the Obama book trivia, I am afraid she will think I turned
her into your group.

Comment: As for the Obama video at
http://www.snopes.com/politics/obama/snubbed.asp

I saw the original video and the version you have posted on your website,
your version is a spliced copy to make it look what you say, a "gesture".
If you saw the full video it was odvious it was snub by what the Russians
were doing and the look on Obama face.

I can not believe that your site would be pushing a political agenda! By
doing so you have compromised your creditablity on all other items, so if
this is not accurate how can anything else be accurate that you publish.

I have unsubcribed to your site.

Comment: Dear Snopes,

I've read many stories on emails which snopes says "not true, never
happened". This is probably true but have you ever thought of how many
perverts and predators have also read them and now have more ideas on how
to entice a woman or child into a car or how to disarm a woman.? Your web
site tells women and their children they have nothing to fear because this
incident didn't really happen when actually, we have much to fear.

I don't care what you say, I have become much more alert when sitting at a
stop light, walking through a parking lot, approaching my parked car,
walking down my street. etc. I've also warned my grandson about strangers
trying to give him something from a car or a woman yelling for help from a
car. My advice is to dial 911 and get a good description of the car,
license plate and people in the car without approaching it. This is the
type of information you need to be giving the public instead of you 'ho
hum it's just another foolish story'. You are doing the public a
disservice with this attitude.

GET REAL. There are predators and perverts that just love your website.

Meh, while the paranoia is not valid, there's some good advice there to the grandson.

I am enjoying the expression "GET REAL!" very much recently, and would like to add it to my collection, which currently consists of "Wake up, America!" and "Where is the outrage?"

* I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an
ugly direction.
This statement is a rewording of a passage from page 261 of The Audacity
of Hope in which Barack Obama spoke of....

Last updated: May 2008

- To confirm this for myself, I purchased the book from Amazon.com
- In my book I do not see the reference cited.
- Perhaps you could have your sources clarify their position?

My book:
Barack Obama "The Audacity of Hope - Thoughts on reclaiming the American
Dream" ISBN 978-0-307-45587-1 c2006 "First vintage book edition 2008"
Random House paperback www.vintagebooks.com

- It appears to me that the reference cited from page 261 has been moved,
removed, or rewritten.
- Can you clarify the rumor and why this apparent author's adjustment has
been made?

Comment: I frequent your website often to prove or disprove emailed
articles and have always trusted your information. However today my trust
in your website has diminished due to a date published on an article.
Therefore, I would request that you please verify the date (April, 1999)
of the Jim Neugent email to ABC in reference to "The Practice" entitled
"Unsavory Practice" - are you sure that is the correct date? Has "The
Practice" been on the air ten years??

Comment: I don't believe that if Natasha Richardson had that accident in the US, she might be alive today..
I personnally from Montreal area, my sister had a home and out the window you could see the skiers..Its way out in the boonies. The hospital is very far away and its in the middle of the Laurentian Mountains...We have towns like that here that are very very far from the hospital..So I think what your saying is wrong!!

Now I am not sure what you say in snopes are true.

YOU PRINTED THE QUOTED SPEECH. WHAT ABOUT IT WAS FALSE....IF YOU ARE
GOING TO CALL IT PART FALSE, LETS HEAR "WHY" YOU SAY IT IS SO....OR DON'T
LABEL IT THAT WAY AT ALL....IS THAT TOO DIFFICULT TO UNDERSTAND?

Comment: I was writing in regards to the "Mars" article... Last night, I
had a good friend go out at Midnight and said that they did indeed see
Mars and it was very large. Almost the size of the moon. The said it had
somewhat of an orange tint. Last night was August 27. I however did not
see it, but once I got to work this morning several people did inform me
that they saw it. I look at this website for all the hoax emails going
around. Is there a way that maybe you guys were mistaken about the mars
article being false?! the only reason i didn't go out and look myself was
because I read yesterday where it was false!

Actually, it was the moon. The orange tint is a sign that Jesus' return is nigh. Praise be!
