instead of reading it as I used to do. Please change back.

Hmmm... I was gonna make a comment about the web page design being changed like three years ago, but now I'm wondering.

Did you change the mailing list format?

Comment: What happened to the site? It was much easier to navigate yesterday. I'm having trouble looking things up.

Comment: I'm quite disappointed in the new website, which is almost
impossible to use!! Used to always check here for things, but now can't
do that. Used the alphabetical way to find hoaxes but that's disappeared.
I have NO idea what the hoax is about, because it doesn't say .. it's just
all jumble, but know the name of it is "What A Wonderful World" and I'm
fairly certain that it is a virus!! I have protection on my computer, but
using a mail screen to read on the server before bringing down into the
computer, and find that I can't check it out on Snopes now with the way
the new website is done. Disappointing!

Comment: I really don't like the new snopes because every time I want
to look up something it either logs me off or goes to something not
pertaining to what I look up or ask. Why did you change it? I liked it
the old way.

Comment: I just wanted to say how much I enjoy this site. I have used it
often, even before the domain name change. But I have never sent a thank
you. Thought it was long over-due.
Thanks for the great site.

So... are they thanking you, or someone else entirely? And, if so, who?

Oh, well, at least they are polite. That must be a nice change.

That's the point of putting the comment here rather than in paid endorsements, I suspect.

Comment: I was wondering why you changed your format. I used to be able
to check out emails and see True of False very clearly and easy to find.
Now it would seem I have not further need to enquire at your site.

Comment: Snops has changed. I used to be able t get to snoops and find the
latest things to be aware of and now I cannot read most of the recent
scams. Snops just asks me to e-mail or print the article and if I cannot
read it I will not do either.

Comment: Please inform me about the changes to this site. I cannot ever
get info now on any subject I submit, just the message that there is no
info. What's going on?? I have referred people to Snopes for years,
knowing they'd be set straight by your great analysis of all the junk that
makes the rounds on the internet. Suddenly I don't have that info source
anymore and that saddens me. Please, Barbara, respond to this if there is
an explanation I could understand.

We regret to reform you that Barbara is unable to respond. We have reformatted Barbara and she will be known from this day forward as "Judy". Please resubmit your request in the proper format. And don't forget the TPS cover sheet.

Comment: You used to immediately label a rumor as hoax or true. Why have
you eliminated this very simple answer instead of our having to read all
of the complete entries to find out.

Comment: I don't like this website. The previous website for hoaxbusters
was so much better. I keep trying to post a new fraud Bank of America
email that is going around. This website takes you in circles with a lot
of ridiculous information that leads no where except to more ridiculous
information.

Comment: I do not like your new format. It used to be that you went on the
first page to a search to find a rumor you wished to check out. I got it
just about every time. Now I get some stupid page with a lot of stuff I
have no interest in, and when I search, most of the time I get "nothing
found." I'm really sorry because I have recommended your site to many
people, but now, finding out about something is much more difficult!

It is very difficult if not impossible to check things out now.
