Icon204 Don't Open Until You Can Respond

Hi All:

The thing that I don't understand is that if I am ordered to send a copy of this back to the person who originally sent it to me, doesn't that mean that now they have to send a copy back to me. That, in turn, will force me to send a copy back, which will cause them to send a copy back to me. It's a self-perpetuating glurge. It can't be killled. Oh, the horror!

Quote:
To all my friends and family enjoy!

You are 1 of my 11, don't open until you can respond.

Hi - I am picking 11 people who have touched my life and who I think would want to receive this. Please send it back to me (You'll see why).

In case you are not aware! , Saint Theresa is known as the Saint of the Little Ways, meaning she believed in doing the little things in life well and with great love.

She is represented by roses. May everyone who receives this message be blessed.

Theresa's Prayer cannot be deleted.

REMEMBER to make a wish before you read the prayer. That's all you have to do. There is nothing attached. Just share this with people and see what happens on the fourth day.

Sorry you have to forward the message, but try not to break this, please.

Prayer is one of the best free gifts we receive. Read the prayer below.

Saint Theresa's Prayer

May today there be peace within.
May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be.
May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith.
May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you.
May you be confident knowing you are a child of God. Let this presence settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love.

It is there for each and every one of us.

Now, send this to 11 people within the next 5 minutes. And remember to send this back. I count as 1...you'll see why.
OK, I'll bite. What happens on the fourth day?

Ta ra 'wan,

Ieuan "I opened and didn't respond" ab Arthur

"Don't open until you can respond" - until I open it, how do I know if I can, or should, respond? It doesn make any sense! But then I'm one of those somewhat literal-minded and non-curious people who, when faced with an email that says "Don't read this!", doesn't read it.

I always count as 1. Never been two or more.

Yes. I sent it to you, insisting that you forward this, but I really do regret it. But now you have no choice, since Theresa's Prayer cannot be deleted, and your fingers will be compelled to hit the forward button and type in 11 addresses.

I clear our email filters at work. I always take much more delight than you'd think reasonable in deleting the ones that state "this cannot be deleted".

I have never yet seen one that actually explains *why* you have to send it back to the sender. Just this weird "you'll see why". I mean, if it said "you'll see a cute cartoon pop up if you include the person who sent it to you" then I could imagine it making sense - but just this "you'll see why" with no explanation? I feel like I've been left hanging.

Somehow I envisage you with heavy duty rubber gloves and a set of drain clearing rods!

As for "this cannot be deleted" my McAfee "Spam" rules and Thunderbird "Junk" rules beg to differ! I also took great delight in tearing up chain snail mails.

One email "friend" only got the message that I did not appreciate the barrage of forwarded crap email when I arranged for all her emails to be rejected back to her for several weeks. Actualy, I think she's stopped emailing me altogether ....

Your period ends?
Wait, that wouldn't apply to half the population.
