Comment: Hello,
The other day my ex husband had purchased a box of lights for our tree
from Fry's grocery store, I put them on the tree and within five minutes
they became so hot. All the while he was telling me the box says extra
cool bulbs or something to that affect.
I brought them back right away as I felt they were a fire hazard. The box
contained colored light about the size of my thumb.
I wasn't sure who to report this to so I called the fire department and
they gave me a phone # for hazard control they basically told me they
can't control what Fry's is selling.
Would you happen to know who I should call and report this?
God forbid someone could get seriously hurt from those bulbs.

used an old email addres she use to use 4 yrs. ago . So what can we do?
And what is this site? Who would have used her email?

Comment: Someone is using my email address as well as others to mail a
site to everyone on my contact list a site that sells medicine from a site
in Canada.

Viagra seems to be the drug of choice for this site.

What do I do to stop this?

Comment: I use facebook in late october I stopped being able to use my
cafe world I contacted Zynga they gave me links to remove and then
reinstall the game as well as bonuses for my inconvenience of course they
didn't help I contacted facebook they say there is nothing they can do I'm
desperate and would really like back into my game I think I may have been
hacked or a virus is in my account not sure which one but to use it one
night and to return in the morning and find it stopped working is odd I
can get as far as the gifts section accept what people gave and what
people need but that's it it's a long shot I know but I was wondering if
you could figure it out I'm not tech savoy by any means

Comment: How does one go about reporting something on your site? It was
suggested to me that I report a cat breeder who is deliberately giving out
incorrect breed information to make it seem that she has something special
and, in the process, to discredit other breeders. It is a total sales
manipulation with no truth behind it. Some of us would like to post the
misinformation and the correct information no Snopes to refer questioning
consumers to. This particular breeder is using this fabricated breed
information to discredit others and convince consumers not to do business
with them

Comment: I get calls from
862-367-5500,914-339-5670,855-703-4205,925-255-2591 at least 5-6 times a
day all hours of the day and night.I have to be in bed by 8 at night and
there is times I just get to sleep and one of these idiots calls.I have to
shut my phone off and my parents are elderly and if something happens to
them they can not get a hold of me because my phone is off.It is the only
one I have.
It is getting a little tiring that every time I go to answer the phone it
is one of those numbers.

Comment: I am sick of getting sexual mail in my spam. Is there anyway this
can be stopped other than deleting all the time? There is (women wanting
you) ****book etc. I never open any of this but I am sick of seeing this
crap everyday.

Comment: 22 year old working for this site . this
is her link and They are getting into my
computer from they say from the msn register. I dont have msn. Her name is
Dannielle. and has been sending me off line messages of a pornagraphic
nature for weeks, but appeared on my contacrs list this morning, meaning
she has taken over an account of someone that used to be on my contacts
list. It's is probrably a person that I have had no contact with for a
long time. This site must be shut down. And as a member of Snopes, and
several other organisations who try to keep the internet safe, am very
concerned that nothing seems to be done about these Random sites. I am 64
yrs old, I might have been a 10 year old. she didn't know me or my age.
Please use any facilities you havw to get this site shut down.

Comment: My email address book appears to have been hacked by a
pharmaceutical company. People in my address book are getting emails that
look like they come from me. When you open the email, there is a link that
takes you to a Canadian pharmaceutical company selling viagra and other
drugs. People in my contacts keep emailing me, telling me that I must have
a virus. I use yahoo, and I don't think that any of my computers that I
use have a virus because I have virus software installed on all of them.
People are getting multiple emails from me. What can I do to stop this?
Someone suggested that I go in and change the passwords on my email
accounts.

Wow that seems awfully complicated. I would think that would be a last resort. I think your current tactic of ignoring the problem, hoping it will go away, is working quite well.

caught in a online romance scam (embarassing i know).

The lady in question has sent me a picture of her UK national ID card that
I suspect to be fake..

Would it be possible for you to inspect it and confirm or infirm my

Comment: I have been researching some information about this whole
"mystery shopper scam". That being said... if I have to be causious of
everything in this respect then how do i find a REAL paying job searching
through the internet? Does this also include those "work at home" jobs as
well? All of this "scam" stuff is very new and unfamiliar to me. I am so
desperatley searching for a career and dont need or want to be takin for
any $$ or anything for that matter. If you could help point me in the
right direction as far as find ways of getting a REAL mystery shopper job
or something of that nature. I do know mystery shopping is a very real job
ive worked in plenty of places that we've had to always be on point, say
and do certian things pertaining to the buisness i was employeed for
incase of a mystery/secret shopper was to arrive. With that I thank you

to have stopped by sending them notification to stop emailing me but there
is no unsubscribe like alot of sites to get rid of it....can you help

Comment: Today I received a message entitled "FEDEX EXPRESS COURIER", and
I was able to locate this particular scam. A couple of days ago I received
one of the top scams, and before that I received the one from a Muslim
lady who was going to leave me all her money because she didn't have any
heirs. I guess I'm on somebody's list! Can you do anything with the actual
emails? I tried to send you the one I received today, but it has to be in
the format "somebody@somewhere.com". Would you be able to trace the email
to the actual sender or do you only alert people to the scams? You perform
a very valuable service. Should I be concerned that I received 3 of these
different scam emails?

Comment: I am a resident of NC but am a temporary resident of FL 6 mos of
the year. Can I qualify for Food Stamps? I am unemployed, receiving
benefits in NC. This is my only income. I am age 61, are there programs
available to help me?
