Even if the Snopes site were some kind of history-presenting site, it's still an odd thing to do. I can't imagine a journalist/scholar/historian accepting "I am writing several emails" as a valid means of distributing genuine information.
It's almost tempting to respond with an email (specifically created for, of course), just to see what kind of crackpot alternative history this person comes up with.

Comment: I have been studying the Bible for over 30 years from an
objective (honest and meticulously analytical) point of view, without any bias for or against any particular religion. My approach is reading the Hebrew and Greek dictionary definitions of individual words, then reading the verses, then considering the semantics and context (author, reader, situation), and then praying to God (the "Spirit of truth" who inspired His word to be preached and written), "Lord, What did you mean by this?" What I have found is that many catholic and protestant theologies are more like theory-ologies. Some of these are based on pagan myths that originated before the New Testament was written; and therefore based on mis-interpretations by pagans (1st-3rd century AD Greeks and 2nd-4th century AD Roman political religious leaders) looking at the Bible through their pagan eyes. Their bias (motivation) was mostly to retain their leadership positions and influence over their followers, and to justify doing things that are forbidden in the Bible (like many are doing today). The result is greatly diminishing the original definitions of key Bible words, thereby diminishing the ability of God's word to improve the quality of our lives on earth and prepare us to spend eternity with Him. But, understanding the original, stonger definitions, from the writer's point of view, gives us a stronger and clearer message that has a more godly influence on our hearts and lives when we read the Bible and hear God's word preached. Comment: I am a 62 year old woman from Pennsylvania. In the past I have
had many psychic experiences that eventually came to fruition. I have been thinking about Madeleine very much and just had a vision of what transpired on the day she was abducted. I have a strong feeling that a waiter at the restaurant where Madeleine's parents were eating is involved in a pedophile ring. He was acting as the lookout for another man who abducted her. He knew the comings and goings of her parents. He notified the abductor by phone that it was all clear to enter the McCann's room. As soon as the mother came back to the table, he called and gave the OK for the abductor to enter the room.If you can trace calls made on cell phones of staff that day or calls made from within the restaurant/hotel, you will locate the abductor. You must concentrate on the waiters in that restaurant. I believe she is alive and is being held in a very large home in a remote location. You can share this information with whomever you'd like.
