Icon104 Huge Explosion Causes Wave

Hello all! Long, long time lurker here finally made an account nice to meet you.
Was curious about this video. Anyone have any idea what type of explosives were used during this? Also, does the explosion cause a massive wall of water or is it just more of a mist?

It looks very much like footage of Bikini Atoll nuclear tests done in the late 1940s and 1950s (and perhaps up to the early 1960s... I forget). (One of the comments claims it is footage of the first hydrogen bomb test. Could be.)

Yes, it's colorized film of the Bikini Atoll test site. Here's some of the same footage in black and white: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-l6Q8Q1smwg&NR=1

Nitpicks: Your link is not the same footage but simply one of many similar films. Also, I don't think the OP was "colorized". There is plenty of color footage from the same tests.
