Soda tap in LBJ's desk

Comment: I've heard this rumor a few times now, but did Lyndon B. Johnson
really install a Fresca soda-tap on the desk in the White House Oval
Office? The closest I can find online is that he did love the drink, and
he did at one time have a button box with two choices: "Coffee" and
"Fresca", but I can't find anything that suggests a soda-tap was installed
on the Oval Office desk.

Doubt it. More likely that was a beer-tap, if anything at all.
