Credit Card Numbers on Keycards

On Shark last night, they used this UL twice. Once when two people, one a detective, were leaving the hotel room ("You don't want to leave this behind"). The second time Stark actually used it in court. I expected to hear it was all a trick. Someone would point out it was not true and Stark would say "Yeah, but the witness didn't know that." Unfortunately, that last part didn't happen.
