Comment: Did the company that makes V8 Juice start adding "metal flavor"
to the juice when they started selling it in the plastic bottles after people were used to the taste of the juice from the cans and complained about the flavor change? |

Although I do not buy it, I have never seen it in cans, or even plastic bottles. In the UK they switched several years ago from glass bottles to cardboard cartons.

They do sell it in cans here. Still, beverage cans are usually (always?) coated on the inside. Any "metallic taste" is probably imaginary.

Or it's that tomato-iron-y taste V8 has. I always thought it tasted like metal, although I chalked it up to the ingredients in the juice, not the juice container.

I can't comment about the metal flavoring, but there is now some sort of flavoring in there that makes my stomach hurt. I was a V8 addict in the early 2000s and drank at least one can a day, now I can't drink it anymore.
