Laugh-In predicted the fall of the Berlin Wall?

predicted that the Berlin Wall would fall in 1989?

I actually saw this during a "Laugh-In" clip show aired on NBC about 10-15 years ago. It was during the "News of the Future" and Dan Rowan said(paraphrased):

"In 1989, 20 years from now, people celebrate the fall of the Berlin Wall. However, it's quickly replaced by a moat full of alligators." There was another clip mentioning "President Ronald Reagan," which got a good laugh from the audience.

I remember watching that very episode on Nick at Nite within a week of the fall of the Berlin Wall. What I found creepy is not it's prediction on Laugh-In but rather Nick randomly showing this episode right after the event.
