Comment: Here's a dubious statistic for you: abortion clinics' busiest month is
Feburary. This is when all the women who had drunken, unprotected sex during/after holiday parties discover the results of their impromptu unions. Also doctors "know" that there'll be a rush of STD patients for the same reason. |

Actually, I thought women were more likely to have "silent" (asymptomatic) infections than men, at least for some diseases. (I'm thinking things like gonorrhea and chlamydia, but I could be wrong.) I've heard that sometimes women don't even know that they've had these infections until they try to conceive, fail, and end up finding out that they have scar tissue from past infection.
