Walt Disney World rumors

Comment: My son and I are going to Walt Disney World soon, and it brought
to mind two rumors that have plagued me for many years. I am trying to
confirm them or reveal them as false.

1. Someone dressed like Mickey and robbed and assaulted a dad in view of
his kids, who needed therapy to get over it.

2. This has to do with the old Discovery Island - the one you took a boat
near the Contemporary to get to. We heard that when the birds got too
plentiful on the beach there, they were clubbed to death.
