Crash Time

Hi All:

Quote:
To realize the value of a sister, ask someone who doesn't have one.
To realize the value of ten years: Ask a newly divorced couple.
To realize the value of four years: Ask a graduate.
To realize the value of one year: Ask a student who has failed a final exam.
To realize the value of nine months: Ask a mother who gave birth to a stillborn.
To realize the value of one month: Ask a mother who has given birth to a premature baby.
To realize the value of one week: Ask an editor of a weekly newspaper.
To realize the value of one minute: Ask a person who has missed the train, bus or plane.
To realize the value of one-second: Ask a person who has survived an accident.
Time waits for no one.
Treasure every moment you have.
You will treasure it even more when you can share it with someone special.
To realize the value of a friend or family member: LOSE ONE.

The origin of this letter is unknown, but it brings good luck to everyone who passes it on. Do not keep this letter. Send it to friends & family to whom you wish good luck, peace, love and prosperity to all!

Remember...hold on tight to the ones you Love
Ta ra 'wan,

Ieuan "Time not well wasted" ab Arthur

I absolutely HATE chain letters of any sort.

Is that really what it takes? If so, this is a sad world indeed.

I have never had a sister. How would I know what it means to have one?

I know that I have never lain awake at night thinking "If only I had a sister..."

I don't have one. I don't really notice much.
Quote:

...'cause all couples divorce after 10 years...never 6 months, or a year...
Quote:
To realize the value of four years: Ask a graduate.
I'm halfway there. The value of 2 years is lots of partying and a bit of learning
Quote:
To realize the value of one year: Ask a student who has failed a final exam.
Sounds like someone who spent too much time learning the value of four years, if ya know what I mean
Quote:
To realize the value of nine months: Ask a mother who gave birth to a stillborn.
Or the mother who was forced to carry an unwanted pregnancy to term...
Quote:
To realize the value of one month: Ask a mother who has given birth to a premature baby.
My mom gave birth to my brother 2 months premature. He's fine. If anything, they got him for 2 extra months.
Quote:
To realize the value of one week: Ask an editor of a weekly newspaper.
No, that's the value of a deadline
Quote:
To realize the value of one minute: Ask a person who has missed the train, bus or plane.
Plane? By one minute? Surely the hold the plane for more than that.
Quote:
To realize the value of one-second: Ask a person who has survived an accident.
Done that. Twice. What I realize is the value of designing cars to withstand impacts. If you're driving a styrofoam car, one second doesn't matter much.

I do. That's why I despise time-sucking glurge like this.

Your telling me. I asked the guy to wait for just a sec and off he went. That is the last time I go out with him.!

only child, never really bothered me. (and why sister as oppose to sibling?)

I particularly love the "the origin of this letter is unknown" bit....as though it's some ancient manuscript recently unearthed, as oppose to glurgealicious processed poo.

D'oh!

When I saw the title, I thought it was a Chambers Brothers glurge. :o
