Comment: Did Henry Kissinger say to Washington Post reporters Woodward and
Bernstein..? "Military men are dumb, stupid animals to be used as pawns for foreign policy" This quote was on a 2005 book by Charles Kelley titled Vietnams Rain Agents |

This sounds familiar, but I recall it being debunked by saying that Kissinger was relaying what someone else thought... like a political party or country thought military men were stupid, etcetera. No cites right now... just a faulty remembery.

He was drafted into the Army in 1943 and became a German interpreter with the 970th Counter Intelligence Corp, obtained the rank of Sergent and recieved an Honorable Discharge a few months after the War ended.

And when would Kissinger have spoken to Woodard AND Bernstein? Their partnership didn't last long after Watergate. Of course, Woodard regularly talks with the Beltway royalty.
