Default Boycott the French

If my father in law sends me any more of this stuff can I have his internet disconnected and have him barred from ever useing the internet again?

66,033 Americans are Buried or Missing in France

Many thousands more died fighting for France but are buried and honored here in the US . France had already fallen to the Nazis, & would be speaking German today had these thousands of American soldiers not sacrificed their lives for the liberation of France !!!
Thanks France

For the first time, AMERICA was seeking help from France . . but France has turned her back!!!

Please remember these Dead Americans when you go shopping, as the French seem to have forgotten them.

France has every right to disagree with America, but France has moved from simple dissent to active hostility toward America.

France President Chirac warned East European nations that if they sided with the US, France would oppose their membership in the European Union. This very week, William Safire reported in the New York Times that France has been secretly helping to arm Iran and has been helping Iran build long range missiles. These same missiles may NOW possibly be used against our own US soldiers.

This boycott has been promoted by NewsMax's and has been frequently mentioned by Bill O'Reilly on the O'Reilly Factor.

If you will send this to at least 10 friends and relative to also forward, it is possible to reach 100 million people in a very short time. GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!

For the first time? Hardly. Whoever wrote this needs to review the history of the US Revolution.

ETA: And the French and Indian War, if we want to count unintentional help.

The FIRST TIME? Hmmm...someone needs to study the early history of the U.S. (you know, like the Revolutionary War).

ETA: Dammit. I was slow on the post button. Lainie spanked me!

Note, if you have been to the places where all those Americans are buried in France, you don't get the idea they are dishonoring them.

One could reasonably argue that the U.S. didn't exist until the conclusion of the Revolutionary War. Until then they were just a bunch of rebellious British colonists.

Reason enough to ignore it, esp. since the organization is NewsMax, not NewsMax's.

Not to mention, that some of these companies are "French" is dubious. For example, I think Marie Claire is a Hearst product (Hearst is based in NYC).

Jerry Springer? Really? Because of the French? And Krups is a German company.

What a silly e-mail.

Also the government that aided the United States (or were we the United Colonies?) of America was the Royal Governement of King Louis XVI (I belive) whose support for our revolution bankrupted his governement and lead to the revolution and the eventual establishment of the Modern French Governement.

By that notion, it was not the French who aided us in the Revolution by a differnt country, with a differnt constitution and authority, therefore it would be disingenuous to claim the current French government aided us in the Revolution.

Of course, since both of our revolutions, we have been allies at various times, and have aided eachother with financial and political aid when it was in both of our best interests.

Hey, I'll encourage people not to watch Jerry Springer for reasons in no way connected to France...

Chivas Regal (Scotch), Glenlivet (Scotch) and Jameson (Irish whiskey) are French products?

Who knew?

Well they've both got a Statue of Liberty. But the one in Paris is considerably smaller.

We can even take that a step farther and say that, during the United States Revolution, the people that eventually became the United States was actually allied with a government who ended up being an enemy of the people that France is today.

Seriously, though, I get tired of people bashing the French. Americans didn't die for France in World War II. Americans died for America.

All I can say is, at least Target wasn't in that list.

Wouldn't the author think that something with the qualifier of "Royal Canadian" would be... oh, Canadian?
