Comment: Your artical on the antichrist is incorrect. It says his origin
is Muslim. Antichrist will be of Roman origin.

Then he's a bit late.

Italians don't really call themselves Romans any more.

Comment: YOU PEOPLE ARE ABSOLUTE ASSHOLES
The pics showing people harvesting turtle eggs is a complete LIE.
In Costa Rica it is against the law and there are heavy fines.
These people are 1. Legally harvesting.
2. Most go to incubators to protect them.

It is a beautiful site to watch the eggs being laid.

IF IT WASN'T FOR THE PEOPLE OF COSTA RICA AND THE GOV'T, THERE WOULDN'T BE
AND EGGS OR TURTLES.

Conservation is very good here.

YOUR PICS ARE BEING CIRCULATED ON THE 'NET, SHOWING PEOPLE DESTROYING,
STEALING THE EGGS.
YOU S/B ASHAMED.
I rec'd an email today that had be forward 10 times to about a 1000
people.

GOOD JOB YOU ASSHOLES.

I HOPE SOMEDAY YOU ARE PAID BACK.
VERY SINCERLY
A Costa Rica resident.
This country is 'GREENER' than almost ALL countries of the world -- esp
yours!

Frying Pan

This last one is a response I'd like to deliver in person. Just to see the look on the person's face when they realize just how much of a jackass they are.

Comment: Your article http://www.snopes.com/inboxer/trivia/fivedays.asp is
incorrect. August 2010 did not have 5 Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
January and October 2010 have 5 Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays because
they are 31-day months that start on a Friday (not a Sunday).
Additionally, any year that contains a 31-day month beginning on a Friday
will have 5 Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. It doesn't occur nearly as
rarely as the perpetual calendar repeats. July 2011 will have this, March
2013, August 2014, May 2015, January and July 2016, December 2017, and so
on. This happens almost every year, just in different months.

Yes me too. Although, in my experience, the response would be a defensive huff and something like "Well, I didn't read THAT. But those guys that send it out, they ARE assholes!!" ... trying to immediately shift the anger, not make amends.

No, that the mundanity of the five-weekend month is understated in your writeup, contributing to the belief that it's more special than it is.

I just got this in my email with a new, weird ending. This is how it goes when it goes like this (Hit it!):

Quote:
This October has 5 Fridays, 5 Saturdays and 5 Sundays, all in one month. It happens once in 823 years. These are money bags. Pass them to 8 good people and money will appear in 4 days. Based on Chinese Fengshui, whoever stops this will experience none.
"Money bags?" Fengshui? Wtf?!

I got it too. I corrected the misconception, then deleted it.

One of my friends posted that version as a facebook status. I wonder what "stopping it" actually entails in that respect then? Did I stop it because I didn't copy and paste this status? Am I going to "experience none"? That's fine. My money comes from a paycheck anyway. I'd be pretty suspicious of bags of money simply showing up at my door anyway.

Comment: I just read the article listed here:
http://www.snopes.com/medical/emergent/redcross.asp
And I thought I should tell you that my late father-in-law was charged for
both bandages and ciggarettes by the red cross in korea during the war.
I'll bet that alot of vets would affirm that as fact if you'd ask them
instead of asking the red cross.

"ONE PERCENT SOLUTION"

You may want amend your site about this matter.
The bill is HR-4646 introduced by US Rep Peter DeFazio D-Oregon and US
Senator Tom Harkin D-Iowa. It is now (October 2010) in committee and
will probably not be brought out until after the Nov. elections.

One percent transaction tax is proposed
President Obama's finance team is recommending a transaction tax. His plan
is to sneak it in after the November election to keep it under the radar.
This is a 1% tax on all transactions at any financial institution i. e.
Banks, Credit Unions, etc.. Any deposit you make, or move around within
your account, i. e. transfer to, will have a 1% tax charged. If your pay
check or your social Security or whatever is direct deposit, 1% tax
charged. If you hand carry a check in to deposit, 1% tax charged, If you
take cash in to deposit, 1% tax charged.
Do your own research about this. If you continue with your current
assessment of the "One percent solution" you are covering for Obama.

Comment: I have come across two separate inaccurate reports from you- at
this point it seems clear that your company is not impartial and does not
complete due diligence in every case you choose to report.

I had hoped that your company would be different, and have higher
intellectual integrity.

1- child bride video on the Gaza strip- you listed the info as bogus, it
is not.
2- misleading information re: Kagan and her work as Obama's representative
in his citizenship lawsuit.

Comment: Rumor or not, perhaps you should verify that what you are putting
on the site has validity before going ahead and posting. I am referring to
the Ridley Turtle photo's and captions. This could have been easily
checked with the local conservancy organization beforehand.
Whether on the web or via traditional media, once the false story goes out
and perceived as being fact, when the true facts emerge the
apology/retraction is either never seen, or buried so that hardly anyone
sees it and leaves the lie as fact in the minds of the masses.
If "reporters" dig deep enough and/or have resources who feed them
information on important matters the general public may not be aware of,
that's wonderful but it's usually always best to go get another opinion to
verify the initial rumor/story before going public.

Comment: The info you list on Kurt Warner is inaccurate. In the book
written by Kurt and Brenda Warner in 2009, they state that this is not
true. That is not how they met and Brenda's son was born normal and
became blind after an injury.
