Do dentists have to change their names as part of their training? Around here we have a Dr. Payne as well.

There's a store a couple towns away called The Liquor Well.
When I was around age nine or so, I was seen by a Navy doctor named Butcher a few times. When I grew up, my gynecologist's name was Dr. Biller. I once had a psychiatrist named Priest, too. |

I don't have pics, but there's a restaurant in Lake City, FL called "Fu King Chinese Food." That has to be intentional.
There's a plastic surgery clinic here in Gainesville called "Poser Plastic Surgery." |

My dentist's name is Dr. Doctor.
During my visit I can't help but to have the refrain from a song in my head the whole time: Doctor, doctor, give me the news. I've got a bad case of lovin' you. No pill's gonna cure my ill. I've got a bad case of lovin' you. He's a good dentist, btw. Morning |

Came into this one kinda' late, but I once had a dentist named Pullen and an optomotrist name Blinder at the same time.
Been a while since I've posted and I'm rusty and can't include a link, but a friend of mine took a picture of the sign at a pharmacy just a few days ago in a local town. The pharmacists names are Michelle Salti-Jaber and Troy Nutson. If I could post the picture, it would be funner. Last edited by robbiev; 16 November 2010 at 03:19 AM. |

There's a road a few miles south of Farmington, Maine, where my BIL's parents live. It has numerous twists and turns, very steep drop-offs on both sides, and no guard rails. You obviously travel this road at your own risk. Its name is quite appropriate. This photo was taken by my sister.
