Icon402 Age doesn't matter

I searched, and couldn't find this one. It's hideous. The heroine can't spell, she's unstable, and she uses netspeak. It's like a warped NAMBLA commercial.

Girl: Heyy What's Up?

Boy: nm...just listening to music.

Girl: I heard you're getting your G.E.D

Boy: Yeahh, i thought it was a good idea.

Girl: It is! I'm so proud of you.

Boy: Yeahh, thanks, well i g2g. later.

-Last message recieved 9/23/07

-The Nxt Day.

Girl: Hi :]

Boy: Hey, what's up.

Girl:Not much, you?

Boy: I got my G.E.D!

Girl: OMG!! I'm so proud of you ^_^

Boy: yeah thanks.

Girl: I have to tell you something.

Boy:yes?

Girl: well i love you. i always have i cared about you and your always in my heart.

Boy: thats cool i love you too but your too young your 13 and im 17

Girl: But i love you age shouldn't mater

Boy: I know you do...and i love you, But i found this girl my age...

Girl: i just thought......(crying -she logs off)

The next day the boy turns on the news and hears that a 13 year old girl cut her wrists and wrote on the wall "Age never matters."

The boy then recives a call from the girl he chose and she says "I'm leaving you for the one i love."

That night the boy hangs himself and writes on the wall "She's right. Age doesn't matter. I love you and always will."

IF YOU AGREE THAT AGE SHOULDN'T MATTER AS LONG AS YOU LOVE THEM

THEN REPOST THIS AS "Age Shouldn't Matter"

That is just creepy. In most cases, I can understand how glurge can emotionally manipulate some people into believing something, but here... I mean wow. Just wow.

So ok no diss to your G.E.D or anything, its nice to have and all, but I'm not sure its what I'd call terribly impressive, heck graduating High School (assuming your a normal, healthy, mentally compitant person and all) is not what I'd call an amazing accomplishment either.

But still, nice of him to congratulate her.

Riiiiiight.. Don't get me wrong, alot of people are spread by more years then that, and alot of girls date guys much older (I knew a girl who dated a 21 year old when she was 14, sick bastard) so yea, but still, the guy is showing some resolve at least, nice of him, I suspect he won't be rewarded for it..

Woah wow, talk about some unbalanced people, one gets turned down for a date and kills herself and the other gets turned down for a date (I expected she would want to date somebody older then him or something, maybe a thirty year old) and he kills himself... Romeo and Juliet eat your hearts out.

The next day the girl tries to eMail the boy because she's depressed to hear about a girl of her age committing suicide, but gets no reply.

My theory is not that this is a pedophile's fantasy, but that this was written by a 13 year old girl with a crush on a 17 year old boy.

It's rather stupid, but it reads like 13 year old girl with a crush logic.

I agree, for the same reason.

Haven't had a good MyGlurge in a while. Hard to believe I once thought they were monopolizing the board.

So he's less bothered about the fact that she died than about the fact that he doesn't have a sloppy seconds to fall back on. Charming, all around.

A lot of them were posted by Squishy(random numbers I can't remember right now), but she's got limited internet access right now.

There was another one a while back almost like this, where the girl kills herself and writes in the blood some stupid message about being ugly because the guy rejected her for being ugly. "Am I pretty enough now?" or something. They both sound like 13 or so year old girls' melodrama. Not that boys don't write some melodrama, but they don't share it as much

Actually here's a funny one by a boy (different type of drama though, as you'll see): http://www.collegehumor.com/article:1738514

I'm still scratching my head wondering how in the hell they managed to write messages on the wall *after* they killed themselves...

And apparently a teenage suicide was big enough news that it got some pretty extensive, detailed local coverage.

It would kinda suck for that guy if it turned out that it was a different girl who killed herself.

This is probably why it's not a good thing for 13 year olds to be dating 17 year olds.
Not just laws, or morals...
They kill themselves a lot.

To me this reads like one of those chain letters you see in the wilds of myspace, I think someone just removed the "Send this to 10 people within the next 10 picoseconds or else the 13 year old girl will show up in your room at night and kill you and you'll never get to date the pedophile who you have a crush on!!!"

I saw the title and thought this was going to be one of those touching tales about a little old lady who graduates from college on her 99th birthday
and proves that age shouldn't stop you from achieving your dreams or whatever. Or maybe it would be about a woman looking in the mrror and seeing her first gray hair but then waxing philosophical and deciding gray hair is proof that God loves her. Instead I get the drivelings of histrionic drama queens. Are the usual glurge writers on vacation this weeK?
