I don't like the way you are treating the American Family Association
(AFA)! Clean up YOUR act or your work and your web site will lose
credibility very fast!!

Well, they are Christians.

Christians don't lie.

So the AFA is not lying. Therefore, they are not wrong.

snopes, OTOH, uses facts and logic.

Those are tools of the devil.

Ergo, snopes is the antichrist, persecuting poor, God-fearing Chrstians.

Now, was that so hard?

Why set up the acronym if you're not going to use it elsewhere? Clean up YOUR act or your e-mails will lose credibility very fast!!

Well, even faster than normal.

Why didn't they say Concerned Conservative American (CCA)? And it would appear that they're not Christian or is Concerned Christian Conservative American (CCCA) too much of a mouthful?

Honestly, don't you know that to be A True American(tm), you are obliged to be Christian.

Comment: regarding the article about David Letterman's 10 reasons why
there are no black NASCAR drivers:

Is there any reason why you have to publish the list ? You are just
perpetuating this list, for people who have never seen it, or for people
who lost it & want to send it to new friends. Please explain why you
think you have to publish the list. This is the 2nd time i've written to
you about this. The next time i will send it to the NAACP.

Comment: I just read GI Joe story. I am a Vietnam Vet, US Marine. While
I appreciate the info about the letter sent that was in error. But, after
reading Starbucks reply I am outragede. These men and women who are in
harms way are from communities all over America as I would assume have a
starbucks. They are asked to send to men who are fighting on the front
everyday. Starbucks didn't mind selling them coffee thus getting them
addicted that's right addicted to their coffee and now a need that they
very easily could supply. Go to any store and when they are honest have
many pounds of coffee daily they throw away as out of date or no pickup
etc. They throw this in the dumpster daily from almost every store.
Their letter was a cop out. Agree to help or I will start a boycott
immeadiately. They also could reduce their price to $.50 a pound (so as
not break their precious policy)and all of us former vets will help with
that. Give me a break...many employers are breaking their policies
sending reserves to a war zone. This is a war not a boxing match. Get
with it or I will to all lengths known to me to get this message out.

Comment: My wife and I were watching your Soup program last night and
watched only a part of the story that was talking about a junior beauty
pageant participant donating/giving her crowns to kids with cancer. I
only caught part of the ending of the story b/c it upset my wife so much
that she changed the channel before the story could finish with the little
girl talking about something even wearing the crowns after they died or
something to that effect. I find this material very much inappropriate.

Just so you know, this Thursday will be 6 months since our l4 year old
little girl passed away from cancer. I have it hard that anyone at E
could find any comedic value in talking about childhood cancer.
please be advised that a similar email is going to be sent to a lot of
people with a lot of power.

I'm guessing that they aired a segment on the "Queen for a Day" organization (or something similar). Yeah, I can see how a story about sick children getting a special treat might be 'inappropriate.' Uh-huh.

Actually, I've never seen the show in question, so I guess there's a possibility that they were making jokes about the organization; doesn't seem likely to me, though. I suspect it's just that the subject matter touched a nerve with these parents. Not the show's fault, really.

We mustn't talk about kids with cancer -- someone who recently lost a child might be watching!

Given the extraordinary and fantastic ways that some people die, can you image TV if anything reminding anyone of a family member's death couldn't be aired?

I have a very basic question.

Never mind how are these people able to (sort of) operate a computer. How are they able to remember to breathe?

Comment: This is the MOST STUPID, IDIOTIC, thing I can think of!
After retiring from over 25 years in banking starting from a Proof-machine
operator through Management, it is pure STUPIDITY to offer 'ILLIGAL'people
an account. You are encouraging these people! Where are they sending
their money? HOME!!
I am so glad I do not bank with you and NEVER will!

Okay, so can I have his toaster for the account he didn't start?

If people make comments without any idea of whom or to what they are commenting, are they stupid, or just ignorant.

I mean I am just asking.

We regret to announce that tonights "Bowling with the Stars" due to a freak accident involving a minnesota woman's drunken uncle and a ball return.

In its place, we are please to bring you "The Joy of painting" starring Bob Ross.
