the thre ads of the screws before tightening them.

Coca-Cola cure for rust ... Forget those expens ive rust removers. Just
saturate an abrasive sponge with Coca Cola and scrub the rust stain. The
phosphoric acid in the coke is what gets the job done.

Cleaning liquid that doubles as bug killer ... If menacing bees, wasps,
hornets, or yellow jackets get in your home and you can't find the
insecticide, try a spray of Formula 409 . Insects drop to the ground
instantly.

Smart splinter remover ...just pour a drop of Elmer's Glue-All over the
splinter, let dry, and peel the dried glue off the skin. The splinter
sticks to the dried glue.

drops to your dog's bath and shampoo the animal thoroug hly. Rinse well
to
avoid skin irritations. Goodbye fleas.

Rainy day cure for dog odor ... Next time your dog comes in from the rain

simply wipe down the animal with Bounce or any dryer sheet, instantly
making your dog smell springtime fresh.

Eliminate ear mites ... All it takes is a few drops of Wesson corn oil in
your cat's ear. Massage it in, then clean with a cotton ball. Repeat
daily
for 3 days. The oil soothes the cat's skin, smothers the mites, and
accelerates healing.

Quaker Oats for fast pain relief ....It's not for breakfast anymore! Mix

cups of Quaker Oats and 1 cup of water in a bowl and warm in the
microwave

Absolutely. However it'll still work if you substitute coke, milk, or plain water. One of the major causes of headaches is dehydration.

I'm feeling that the words 'abrasive sponge' are giving away the secret here.

Mix 2 cups of Quaker Oats and 1 cup of water in a bowl and warm in the
microwave for 1 minute, cool slightly, and apply the mixture to your hands for
soothing relief from arthritis pain.

This is the same principle as having a nice hot bath to soothe away aches and pains, or a nice hot water bottle pressed against the abdomen at that time of the month. Again, it'll work, but the oats have nothing to do with it.

Not a good idea. Dryer sheets are loaded with chemicals, and there's a good chance the dog will lick them off. A healthy dog on a good diet shouldn't have much odor anyway.

I've heard of olive oil being used for this (even recommended by vets), but never corn oil. Knowing that lots of dogs and cats have allergy problems with corn in their food, I would hesitate to use a corn product in their ears, especially ears that are already irritated and possibly have lacerations from scratching. I would also talk to my vet before I did anything to my pets' ears.

Break the Chain says they confirmed with Joey Green that this was taken from one of his "Wacky USes for EVeryday Stuff" books. They add " It is copyrighted material and is circulating without the author's permission"

The giveaway that it is from Green is the use of brand names. He doesn't say "clear nail polish" or "white glue" if he can say "Maybelline Crystal Clear" or "Elmers Glue-all."

I got that nasty toenail fungie and the doctor gave me a cream to put on three times a day. It worked for a while but it came back. I didn't want the prescription to take for 3 months. I did the Listerine treatment and it worked great.
I am not and never have been an employee for the Listerine company so will not get any bucks for advertising, boo hoo.

My family got the honey and apple cider vinegar recipe (not the white vinegar) from my brother years ago and I keep a bottle of it always handy as it is better than any prescription cough syrup I've ever used. Vinegar and water is also good for arthiritis and I take that most days.
