The son of "The Big Bopper" has hired a forensic anthropologist to try to answer questions about how his father died in the 1959 plane crash that also took the lives of famous early rock `n' rollers Buddy Holly and Ritchie Valens.

Well that's great, now I can sleep better at night!
Er no, I'm actually still awake. I know they're bones and Mr. Bopper doesn't need them anymore, but it still seems a little disrespectful to disturb his remains just to satisfy curiousity about something that really doesn't benefit anyone. |

They also planned to move his body to a larger grave site and erect some sort of memorial for him. Might as well kill two birds with one stone (no pun intended).
