Okay these are two different UL's (Supposed UL's) that I'm asking about cause I have a friend who doesn't believe either of them.
1. Is it true that cockroaches can live for two weeks without their heads and will only die of starvation? 2. Is the inside of a crab mostly liquid until you cook it? My sister says (and so do a few other people that I know) that if you catch a crab on a beach and pull it apart without cooking it, looking for meat, you are basically going to find liquid and not much to eat. I believe this is true, but I can't find anything to back it up and 50 bucks it riding on me being right, so can anyone help out? |

I suppose in a milion years we could see the evolution of a hydraulic super crab - or maybe not. Last edited by Eddylizard; 26 September 2007 at 06:30 PM. |

I have cut open many, many live blue crabs and can tell you that while the meat is uber delicate, it is not water. If it was, then when they molt wouldnt all their innards leak away?

According to a professor at UMass they can live for up to a month if you decapitate properly and prevent mold..
