A couple were anticipating more trick-or-treaters on Halloween night,
during the 50's or 60's at their home in Corvallis Oregon...She made some
excuse and left the living room, asking the husband to administer the
candy dish and answer the door if the bell rang. She removed all her
clothes, put on a old bathrobe and a grocery bag over head, then slipped
out the back door, walked around the house and rang the doorbell.

When hubby answered the door with a bowl of candy in his hand, she tore
open her bathrobe and yelled "Trick-or-treat". In shock, he stumbled
backwards, tripped, and fell, cracking open his noggin on the coffee
table. He had to be taken to the hospital to receive a few stitches.

This is the only part of the story that I question. Of course, randy couples do all kinds of fun things to sex each other up, and Halloween is the perfect pagan holiday for all things naughty. But the notion of someone being so shocked at such a thing that they are actually driven back by the force of their own amazement is a cartoon reaction, and too reminiscent of all the other tales that end in a similar fashion. Also, I don't know of too many people who have coffee tables near enough to the front door to fall back into. Although I was raised on the moon, so maybe my experience is atypical.

I vote for half-true.

Yes, the only scenario in which I've seen people actually have such a "shocked" reaction to female breasts is when boobs appear at halftime during the Super Bowl.
