Love bugs are a pain in the paint job, but urban legend says they can also predict the weather.

According to weather lore, when the black swarms come in September, cool weather is just about two weeks away.

That there will be lots of splatted bugs on your grill.

We saw a pair of them on the windshield the other day. When I pointed them out to DD1 she and said "geez, it's not even mating season"
