Jared from Subway dropped?

I heard from my brother, who heard from the girl behind the counter at Subway (great start for a legend, I know) that Jared, the Subway guy, will no longer appear in the commercials for the company because of either molesting a kid or having kiddie porn, but it was on the down-low because Subway did damage control and paid off various news outlets to not report such an embarrassing bit of news.

I feel like a tool for believing this, so can anyone confirm or deny?
