Judge The God Delusion by Richard Dawkins

In Dawkins' new book, he discusses the irrationality of a belief in God.

In Chapter 7 ("The 'Good' Bookand the Changing Moral Zeitgeist discusses why religion is not necessary to provide a moral compass and can, in fact, cause a moral compass to be horribly misdirected.

On page 239, he cites SNOPES (www.snopes.com/katrina/satire/robertson.asp)
in relation of Pat Robertson's comments on Hurricane Katrina.

Man, I read that passage late last night and was planning to post it today. I guess you got there a little faster than me.

I did find it curious that someone of Dawkins' caliber would cite a UL in the main body and then question it in a mere footnote, though. He would have been better off to simply find a true Robertson quote.
