In Dawkins' new book, he discusses the irrationality of a belief in God.
In Chapter 7 ("The 'Good' Bookand the Changing Moral Zeitgeist discusses why religion is not necessary to provide a moral compass and can, in fact, cause a moral compass to be horribly misdirected. Man, I read that passage late last night and was planning to post it today. I guess you got there a little faster than me.
I did find it curious that someone of Dawkins' caliber would cite a UL in the main body and then question it in a mere footnote, though. He would have been better off to simply find a true Robertson quote.
