Comment: I've heard the story where a person in Boston said he could find
an open parking place right in front of the building he was going to go into, at any time, on any day. So the local newspaper challenged him. They would call him and tell him to park, let's say, in front of the courthouse (or any other place that was notorious for parking spaces always occupied). And it was a random time, a random day. And he did find an open parking place right in front of the building they would send him to. He was given the title Mr. Boston. Since then, any time you find a parking spot right in front of where you want to go (busy mall, local courthouse, etc.), it's a Mr. Boston. |
